For hachtings, diagrams, frames etc.

Lines are very versatilely deployable. They can come into operation as hatchings of certain parts or elements of the logo, they can be graph lines, or just be used as stilystic elements, separative elements or frames.

Using a line as a separative element, stilystic element or as a frame is often reasonable to make the logo "more stable".

Lines can be used to form contours, closed or open ones, and get other meanings in the process. The meaning of contours was dealt with in the previous chapter.

Practical tips:

In the process of output through a printer or computer to plate (CTP) , lines possibly cause problems. These lines should be transformed into areas.
