Brief summary of Characteristics:

Axis strongly to the left, concave, rounded serifs, crossbar oblique (e.g. "e")

Group 1: Old-Style Antiqua:

Old-Style Antiqua is modelled on the Capitalis Monumentalis (Roman Capitalis). Furthermore, it can be traced back to the humanistic minuscules of the 15th century, which were written with a broad pen.

The line weights of the hairline and stem stroke differ only slightly. The axis of the well-formed characters is oblique (bent to the left).

Ascenders and Majuscules are the same height. The Serifs are rounded.
