The FHxx-file is used by Macromedia Freehand. In the file name, "xx" is replaced by the respective version of Freehand.

Freehand is a vector oriented drawing program that is very convenient for logo design. By now, Freehand also supports the use of pixel images, but its real strength lies in its qualities as a vector program.

The Freehand format is supported by few other graphics programs, but you can open a Freehand file with Adobe Illustrator, for example.

When the layout is finished in Freehand, it is advisable to export the product as a Freehand-EPS or EPS. Alternatively, you could create a PS or PDF using a printer driver or distiller.
