For idea generation, everybody uses their own method - knowingly or unknowingly. However, these methods don't always work, least of all "on call".

To come up with ideas faster in the future, or to come up with even better ones, I would like to present some creative methods for idea generation. I will not go into these methods here. Instead, they will be dwelled on in the next chapter, "7. Creativity training".

There are the following methods::

  • Keeping an idea book

    Brainstorming

    Brainwriting

    Mind Mapping (R)

    Finding associations

    Buzz word technique

    Morphological matrix

    Reversion method

    Osborn method

These are just some methods for the creative process, there are of course many more - but those are not necessarily well-suited for logo design.
